Welcome to the official website of Victory Christian Fellowship International. This site is currently under construction, please be patient as we work on this site. VCF International is a ministry dedicated to the 'least of these'. As Jesus said "Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you favored of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me. Then the just and upright will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger and welcomed and entertained You, or naked and clothed You? And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You? And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me" (Matthew 25:34-40, Amplified Bible). What we believe!

Statement of Faith

  1. We believe that there is one God, eternally existant, manifest in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  2. We believe in the deity and supreme authority of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, sinless life, His atoning death, bodily resurrection, assension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal return to power and glory in the future.
  3. We believe, without reservation, in the full and final inspiration of the Holy Bible, both the New and Old testament; that it is the infallible Word of God, and thus, the all sufficent rule of faith and life.
  4. We believe in the reality of final judgement, heaven and hell as taught in the Holy Bible.
  5. We believe in the divine origin and character of the church, and in the restoration of its unity and practice on the New Testament basis.
  6. We believe that man is saved by the grace of God through faith, and that as taught in the scripture, mans faith involves repentance from sin, confession of faith in Christ and His atoning work at Calvary, baptism by immersion in water, and a life of faithfulness to Jesus Christ and His Word.
  7. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
  8. We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Pastor David

Pastor David Lovejoy was born on June 15, 1966 in Fullerton, CA to Kenneth "Ken" (1922-1998) and Klara "Mickey" (1933- ) Lovejoy. At the age of 11, Pastor David moved from Yorba Linda, CA to Phoenix, AZ.

In 1982 he accepted Jesus Christ as his LORD and Savior at the Metro Church of Christ. In 1987 David began his theological education at the Sweetwater Bible College. His education continued with the Chaplains Bible College, Crossroad Bible Institute, Tabernacle School of the Bible, and Grace & Truth, Inc. Having received an honorary Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) degree in 1986, Pastor David decided to pursue a degree in religion, and in 2004 earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Religion. Dr. Lovejoy has served in Christian Ministry for over 14 years with the following Ministries:

  • Faith Ministries in Glendale, Arizona (1986-88),
  • Convicted Int'l Outreach in Glendale, Arizona (1991-1995),
  • Ambassador Ministries, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona (1999-2007) where he served as Senior Pastor before moving to Moorhead, Minnesota.

I am a Soldier!

.     I AM A SOLDIER IN THE ARMY OF MY GOD.  THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS MY COMMANDING OFFICER.  THE HOLY BIBLE IS MY CODE OF CONDUCT.  FAITH, PRAYER, AND THE WORD ARE MY WEAPONS OF WARFARE.  I HAVE BEEN TAUGHT BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, TRAINED BY EXPERIENCE, TRIED TO ADVERSITY AND TESTED BY FIRE.      I AM A VOLUNTEER IN THIS ARMY, AND I AM ENLISTED FOR ETERNITY.  I WILL EITHER RETIRE IN THIS ARMY AT THE RAPTURE OR DIE IN THIS ARMY; BUT I WILL NOT GET OUT, SELL OUT, BE TALKED OUT, OR PUSHED OUT. I AM FAITHFUL, RELIABLE, CAPABLE AND DEPENDABLE.     IF MY GOD NEEDS ME, I AM THERE.IF HE NEEDS ME IN THE SUNDAY SCHOOL, TO TEACH THE CHILDREN, WORK WITH THE YOUTH, HELP ADULTS OR JUST SIT AND LEARN.    HE CAN USE ME BECAUSE I AM THERE! I AM A SOLDIER. I AM NOT A BABY. I DO NO NEED TO BE PAMPERED, PETTED, PRIMED UP, PUMPED UP, PICKED UP OR PEPPED UP. I AM A SOLDIER.NO ONE HAS TO CALL ME, REMIND ME, WRITE ME, VISIT ME, ENTICE ME, OR LURE ME. I AM A SOLDIER.I AM NOT A WIMP. I AM IN PLACE, SALUTING MY KING, OBEYING HIS ORDERS, PRAISING HIS NAME, AND BUILDING HIS KINGDOM!     NO ONE HAS TO SEND ME FLOWERS, GIFTS, FOOD, CARDS, CANDY OR GIVE ME CONTRIBUTIONS. I DO NOT NEED TO BE CUDDLED, CRADLED, CARED FOR OR CATERED TO.     I AM COMMITTED. I CANNOT HAVE MY FEELINGS HURT BAD ENOUGH TO TURN ME AROUND.I CANNOT BE DISCOURAGED ENOUGH TO TURN ME ASIDE. I CANNOT LOSE ENOUGH TO CAUSE ME TO QUIT. WHEN JESUS CALLED ME INTO THIS ARMY, I HAD NOTHING.     IF I END UP WITH NOTHING, I WILL STILL COME OUT AHEAD. I WILL BE THE VICTOR.     MY GOD HAS AND WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPLY ALL OF MY NEED.   I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR. I WILL ALWAYS BE VICTORIOUS. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST.DEVILS CANNOT DEFEAT ME. PEOPLE CANNOT DISILLUSION ME.WEATHER CANNOT WEARY ME.     SICKNESS CANNOT STOP ME. BATTLES CANNOT BEAT ME. MONEY CANNOT BUY ME. GOVERNMENTS CANNOT SILENCE ME AND HELL CANNOT HANDLE ME. I AM A SOLDIER. EVEN DEATH CANNOT DESTROY ME. FOR WHEN MY COMMANDER CALLS ME FROM THIS BATTLEFIELD, HE WILL PROMOTE ME TO CAPTAIN AND THEN ALLOW ME TO RULE WITH HIM. I AM A SOLDIER IN THE ARMY, AND I'M MARCHING CLAIMING VICTORY. I WILL NOT GIVE UP.I WILL NOT TURN AROUND.I AM A SOLDIER, MARCHING HEAVEN BOUND.HERE I STAND!!! WILL YOU STAND WITH ME?       GUESS WHAT?  IF YOU'VE ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR AND BEEN BAPTIZED FOR THE REMISSION OF YOUR SINS, YOU’RE ALREADY ENLISTED!QUESTION IS: WHICH PART OF THE SERVICE ARE YOU IN???? 1.ACTIVE DUTY: SERVING LORD FAITHFULLY, DAILY, AND ON DUTY 24-7? 2.RESERVE STATUS: SERVING ONLY WHEN CALLED UPON OR TWICE A YEAR, CHRISTMAS AND EASTER? 3.GUARD STATUS: BACKING UP THE ACTIVE DUTY GROUP? 4.AWOL: ABSENT WITHOUT THE LORD?? T H I N K   A B O U T   I T ! ! ! ! !
